STEP 7 – A RESTFUL SLEEP

Quality sleep is essential for overall wellbeing and health. Sleep experts recommend eight to nine hours of sleep, but many people fall short or have restless sleep, depriving their bodies of critical recharging.

Our sleep enhances our ability to process and retain information, processes our emotions, and allows our bodies to remove waste products, replace energy reserves, rebuild our metabolism, and develop our memories, while our brain regulates growth and repair of our bodies during the night.

There are many sleep aids out there, but wouldn’t it be nice to have a natural option with side BENEFITS instead of unwanted side EFFECTS?

FALL ASLEEP ROLLER BOTTLE BLEND

• 15 drops Grounding Blend

• 15 drops Lavender Essential Oil

• 5 drops Frankincense Essential Oil

Add Essential Oils to a 10ml roller. Fill the remainder with a carrier like Fractionated Coconut Oil (or FCO for short). Apply to chest, feet, and up spine. It will help with falling asleep and relaxing the body.

WHIPPED SLEEPY TIME RUB RECIPE

• 1/2 c. Shea (or you could use Cocoa) butter

• 1/4 c. hard Coconut Oil

• 1/4 c. Carrier Oil, like Fractionated Coconut Oil or Apricot Seed Oil

• 30 drops Lavender Essential Oil

• 20 drops Grounding Blend Essential Oil

• 15 drops of Frankincense Essential Oil

• 1/2 tsp. Vitamin C Oil 

Add the Coconut Oil and the Shea Butter to a small pan and simmer till melted. Add Carrier Oil. Remove from heat and let stand about 5 minutes. Add the Essential Oils to the pan and then put it in the freezer for about 20-40 minutes. You want it to be firm, but not too hard. Then whip it with an electric mixer on high until the mixture softens and forms peaks. Makes about 1/2 cup.

To apply, take a small (pea-sized) amount and massage it into your feet, legs, arms, or other areas of concern.
